Athlete of the Month - Mike Hetzler

About 12 years ago I was overweight coming in at 210-220. One day I saw my self in the mirror and did not like what a saw and started going to club fitness every day and barely eating anything (yes I now know that was not healthy) . I did drop about 25 lbs. But I was not happy. I started going to TNT in 2014, I wanted a relationship that could help me get where I wanted. I started doing personal training with Oscar. I was doing two 1 hour sessions with him and a couple swift class each week. My goal was to lose weight and maintain that weight. He helped me with nutrition and building muscles . I lost another 10 lbs and was happy. I kept doing this over next couple years.


I then started slipping, was doing less training and dropped swift cause they didn’t fit work schedule and my nutrition was slacking. I was eating what I wanted when I wanted thinking I can just go to the gym and work it off. Fast forward to April 1 I was again at 209 . I started using noom which helps with the psychological of why you eat what you eat. Plus I started hitting TNT more, with the help of Oscar, Courtney , and Alex(may have butchered spelling) and noom helping me be accountable for what I eat when. I am now weighing in at 179. I feel great, I’m happy and still have 19 lbs to go to reach my goal of 160.
